Pine Acres Family Camping Resort (4.5 stars)
Located in Oakham, Pine Acres offers your family Massachusettsí finest in year round camping. Set in beautiful surroundings, amidst restful New England towns, you can pitch your tent on a secluded hill or park your RV lakeside under towering pines. Pine Acres waterfront covers more than a mile of Lake Dean, a 70 acre sparkling body of water for boating, swimming, fishing and water sports.
(This campground had everything you could ask for for both kids and adults.  It had a nice pool with a kid-friendly automated sprinkler part, mini-golf, volleyball, lodge (with beers!), store, and plenty of activities for kids.  They showed the movie 'Cars' outside on Saturday night.  The only downside to this campground was the very close proximity of your neighbors and the fact that we were next to a main camp road that constantly had vehicles and kids with bikes running up and down. If we were located off the main drag, I think this would have gotten a 5.)

Cape Ann Camp Site (3.5 stars)
Cape Ann Camp Site is located 30 miles northeast of Boston in the historic city of Gloucester. Established in 1949, Cape Ann Camp Site is a family owned and operated business built on the knowledge that the vacation is only as good as its destination ó and you really canít get any better than this small fishing village on the coast of Massachusetts.
(This is a good, no frills campground with wooded and private campsites. No frills means no pool, no playground and older but clean bathrooms. However, the actual campsites and grounds are the most naturally beautiful we have seen and the service was friendly too.)

Woodmore Family Campground (4 stars)
Located in the southwest corner of New Hampshire in the Monadnock Region on beautiful Lake Contoocook., Rindge, New Hampshire
(
A nice place, sites are pretty close to each other, bathrooms are clean, nice pool and playground and very friendly service plus family activities are good, seasonal sites look a bit shabby.)

Lake Pemaquid Camping (4 stars)
Mid-Coast Maine Family Campground, Damariscotta, Maine
(Great place for kids of all ages, Nice pool and hot tub, Clean, Bathrooms were ok, location was not exactly ideal for tourist coastal stuff IMO.)

King's Campground (3.5 stars)
Seasonal and Weekend Campsites Located on Lake Manchaug in Sutton, MA
(Not a bad place, A little farm area for kids to feed animals, Not many trees on sites, No pool but lake was ok, Not much to do in the area.)

Bar Harbor KOA (2.5 stars)
Maine vacation camping at the KOA Campground in Bar Harbor, Maine
(Right on the ocean bay, Great Views, Great bathrooms, Lots to do in the area, Bar Harbor is a GREAT vacation spot, sites were iffy, more suited for large motor homes and retired people.)

Ocean View Park Campground (3 stars)
Ocean View Park is located on Popham Beach, which is a 2 Ĺ mile stretch of sandy beach, Phippsburg, Maine
(The beach MAKES this campground a 3 star, Not much else to do in area although there is a state park nearby, bathrooms are terrible.)

Sutton Falls Camping Area (0 stars)
Located in the Scenic Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor, South Central Massachusetts
(Ok. So camping is always an adventure which is part of the fun, right? Our adventure included a fair amount of dog feces on our campsite which also happened to be unusually close to the main road through the campground. So close in fact, that we were scared that the many obviously inebriated seasonal campers driving (yes, driving) by were going to hit our tents. Also, if you donít mind really rundown seasonal RVís, domestic disputes and swearing within earshot- this might be the campground for you.)
